Pottery for Fun is a 90-minute fun class for learning Pottery. It's ideal for friends, family, and date nights. In this session, you will learn how to sit and throw clay on a potter's wheel. Step-by-step instructions and all tools will be given. It's a fun and creative way to spend time together and learn a new skill.

No experience is needed. Kids are welcome. However, you must be at least 50 inches tall to operate pottery wheels and have a smile on your face:)

1) The Wheel-throwing pottery class begins with an introduction.
2) Each participant will get clay, a wheel, and tools.
3) Step-by-step demonstration and guidance through various techniques and hand-building skills.
4) Pottery wheel cleaning.
5) At the end, you can walk out with your raw ceramic creations or opt for bisque-firing and glazing, a step we strongly recommend. Bisque-firing at $10 or Glaze and Bisque at $30

Of course! For those who can't pick up creations, we provide hand delivery services in the greater Seattle area in the State of Washington, encompassing the City of Everett, Bothell, Lynnwood, Bellevue, Redmond, Marysville, University of Washington, and the Puget Sound region. Outside these areas, we use USPS and third-party shipping services to facilitate delivery anywhere in the USA.

Q: Can I bring kids to the pottery session?
A: Kids are welcome to operate the pottery wheel and work with clay if they are 8+ and 50 inches tall. An Adult member of the family must accompany the kids.
Q: How much time do I need for the glazing?
A: It depends. Most people take 15 to 30 minutes to complete the glazing process.Q: Do we have to fire our ceramic creations?
Firing and glazing are optional, and you don't have to.
Q: Does the studio provide glazing and firing services, and how much does it cost?
Yes, we provide Bisque (Firing) and Glazing (Painting), but these are optional services not included in your purchase. We also offer a kiln shelf. You can take a raw creation home without firing or glazing or ask the instructor in the class for these services. The studio charges $10 for the firing and $30 for the Glazing & Firing schedule.
Q: Can you deliver my creations to my location, or do I have to pick them up?
For those who need help picking up their creations, we offer hand delivery services in the City of Seattle, Everett, Bothell, Lynnwood, Bellevue, Redmond, Marysville, and Puget Sound areas . For locations outside these areas, we use USPS and third-party shipping services to deliver your creations anywhere in the USA.Q: How much does hand delivery or shipping cost?
A: Depending upon the size of your creation, most of the delivery costs $30 anywhere in the USA. You can also have another piece in the same shipment for an additional $8.Q: What are some standard pottery-making techniques?
A: Some pottery-making techniques you’ll learn are - centering clay, throwing on a potter's wheel, wedging clay, identifying depth, pulling clay, and decorating your creations.Q: What to wear for a pottery session?
1) Casual clothing is the best for studio activity. Clay comes out of fabric without much effort, but we always suggest wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
2) Avoid wearing shoes and sandals with prominent hills.
3) Clip your fingernails for the best experience.
