Who can join?

Our stained glass cutting workshop is ideal for those who have attended our introductory class, Stained Glass Magic For Beginners, or those who have hands-on stained glass experience and have worked in the last three months otherwise, we highly recommend attending the Stained Glass Magic session before participating in this workshop.

What is Cut N Stain?

Cut-N-Stain is a three-hour-long stained glass art-making session. It means getting hands-on experience with cutting and grinding stained glass to improve your artistic glass art skills. In this session, you will explore the art of creating stained glass from available designs, mastering the techniques to cut and grind glass pieces, and ultimately crafting a unique artwork from available templates that reflect your vision. What are the attending requirements?

This workshop is ideal for those who have attended our introductory class of Stained Glass Magic For Beginners . We highly recommend attending the Stained Glass Magic session before participating in this workshop.

In the beginner’s stained glass class, participants will receive pre-cut pieces and complete their projects in 90 minutes, while in the intermediate classes, participants will learn how to cut and grind glass pieces to finish the rest of the process of creating stained glass artwork in 180 minutes

Participants will expect to learn the following hands-on techniques to improve their stained glass skills. 

1. Design and create a template for a stained glass project.
2. Cut glass using various techniques.
3. Grinding glass.
4. Finally, participants will apply the skills of foiling and soldering learned in our beginner-level session, including adding a hanger, to complete their project at the end of the class.
5. At the end of the workshop, participants will walk out with their stained class creation.

 The workshop will last three hours. The first two hours will focus on learning and practicing how to create project templates, cut glass, and grind glass pieces. Participants will work on copper foiling and soldering, and complete their stained glass projects in the last hour.
