At Feelartistic Studio, you can develop your pottery skills at your own pace and at an affordable cost. Unlike traditional studios that require a commitment to attending classes three to four times a week for several months and costing hundreds of dollars, many beginners drop out after just a class or two. This can happen for various reasons, such as not liking the instructor’s teaching style or realizing that pottery may not be for them. Our teaching approach allows you to take shorter classes and practice at your convenience, all at an affordable price. Here’s a roadmap to guide you through your pottery journey:

Step 1:

Join us for a 90-minute fun session! We offer classes throughout the week in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. These instructor-led classes provide step-by-step instructions and include all the necessary tools, including a dedicated wheel for your use during the class. You will learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel and how to create a simple ceramic bowl.

This introductory class will help you determine if pottery and the studio environment are right for you. If you enjoy it and wish to build your skills further, you can move on to Step 2 of the learning process, which is designed to help you practice and reinforce what you’ve learned in the first class.

Step 2:

Join our Pottery Studio Time! Studio Time is a practice session where you can build your skills quickly. It’s very affordable to register—only $15 for two hours of practice. You can also buy a half bag of clay, approximately 12 lbs, for just $15. You can access all our tools and wheels to practice what you learned in the first class. After you’ve spent time building your skills, you’ll be ready for Step 3 of the pottery learning process.

Step 3:

Now you’re ready to join our Mug-making Class to embark on the creative adventure of making a mug on the potter’s wheel! We offer mug-making classes throughout the week and on weekends. This class is designed for those who have attended a 90-minute fun session or have some experience working with the wheel. Like before, this will be an instructor-led class, where you will receive step-by-step instructions and all necessary tools.

Step 4:

Come back again for Studio Time to practice your pottery skills or what you have learned in the mug and bowl-making classes. Building your skills is all about practice; the quicker you practice, the more you will improve!

You can continue your pottery journey using our classes and Studio Time. If you need special attention, we also offer one-on-one private lessons, where an instructor will work closely to help you build your skills further.
