What is glass fusing?

Glass fusing is the process of combining different pieces of glass by heating them in a kiln until they fuse together. This creates a solid piece of glass art or functional object.

Join our glass fusing classes—no experience necessary! We welcome all skill levels, from complete beginners to those with some background. Our expert instructors will guide you throughout the art-making process.

Of course! All children aged 8 and older are welcome to join the glass fusing class. However, they must be accompanied by adults.

  1. The glass fusing class will start with an introduction.
  2. All tools and glass supplies will be provided.  
  3. There will be step-by-step demonstrations and guidance on various techniques and hand-building skills.  
  4. At the end of the class, you can select from different shapes for an additional $10, or keep the tile/flat shape at no additional cost.

Most participants take at least 90 minutes to create glass fusing art. 

Absolutely! In most classes, you’ll have a range of colored glass to choose from, and you can design your own piece, from the shape to the colors.

The project takes around two and a half weeks to complete. Once it is done, the studio will notify you to stop by to pick up your project, or you can request shipping.

Prices vary by day and time. Expect to pay between $50 and $110 per class. Some classes offer package deals or discounts for multiple sessions.
